This talk explores how we leveraged WebAssembly and the Component Model to build Golem Cloud, a durable execution platform that abstracts away distributed systems complexity. We’ll examine the technical implementation details of how Golem’s features are enabled by WebAssembly - from module composition to interface types and resource management. The session will demonstrate how different parts of the WASM ecosystem work together in production infrastructure, and explore how emerging specifications will unlock new possibilities for the future of cloud computing.
